Are you new to the city for work or school and looking for a new church in Philadelphia in which to worship and praise God, spiritually grow and engage in social networking?  Do you enjoy spirit-filled worship and preaching? If your answer is yes, we warmly welcome you and your family to join us at Zion in North Philadelphia.

We are a tri-state church serving the social and religious needs of residents in the City of Philadelphia, South Jersey and State of Delaware. Join us each Sunday for praise and worship during our two worship services at 7:45 A.M. and 10:45 A.M. on our main campus at 3600 North Broad Street.

New Member Mission Statement

The assignment of the New Members Ministry of Zion is to appreciate, educate, assimilate, encourage and escalate new membership at Zion. By way of appreciation, we are glad you have joined us.  Through a structured curriculum, over four weeks, we educate new members in the fundamentals of the faith, including the Plan of Salvation, the Books of the Bible, etc.

Through orientation our goal is the easy orientation and assimilation of our new members at Zion. Through Christian encouragement we seek to motivate and escalate interest in new membership to bring men and women, boys and girls to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and viable and sustainable membership in our church.

We view it as our mission to welcome new members, welcome back former members, encourage and help new Christians strengthen their faith and fellowship with God.

Through informal and formal sharing, new members are informed of the various ministries and organizations of the church and inspired through our new member curriculum to live out their faith in a manner that brings glory to God. We empower others to reach the world for Jesus Christ!

New Member Classes

The New Member's Ministry meet each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on the second level of our main campus in Room 12. Again, there are only four basic new member classes required for membership in Zion. These basic classes will familiarize you with the bible and Zion and are mandatory. Completion of these new member orientation classes are required prior to receiving the Right Hand of Fellowship and participation in Zion church ministries.
